Holland America's ms Zuiderdam is a Vista-class luxury cruise ship and the largest ship in the fleet at 85,000 gross registered tons and 1,848-passenger capacity. Because of its size, the Zuiderdam offers its passengers an array of activities, entertainment, accommodations and restaurants.

Cruise Ship Highlights
The Zuiderdam has a health spa, 10 decks with two glass elevators on the outside of the ship with open ocean views and several dining options. There are six lounges, bars and a nightclub where passengers can chat with friends and dance at night. The ship offers dataports for e-mail and Internet access in every stateroom.

Staterooms
The Zuiderdam has 924 staterooms, 67% with verandahs that overlook the ocean. The 461 Deluxe Verandah Outside staterooms measure 254 square feet in size, including a 54-square-foot verandah.
Deluxe Verandah Suites and Deluxe Verandah Outside staterooms located at the stern of the ship on

five decks have verandahs approximately twice the size of the regular verandahs for the category.

If you are on a honeymoon or celebrating a special occasion, the two Penthouse Verandah Suites are the most luxurious. The suites each have a 318-square-foot verandah with a private hot tub and outside dining area.

The 60 Deluxe Verandah Suites measure 510 to 700 square feet with a 130-square-foot or larger verandah. The 100 Superior Verandah Suites measure 398 square feet and include a 100-square-foot verandah.
