The Segway tour is perfect for both, those new to the city and locals looking to experience Washington DC with an effortless glide. This tour offers a fantastic orientation and an opportunity to see virtually all of the famous sites and monuments of America’s capital city.
This tour operates twice daily (1000h and 1400h) and begins from 624 9th Street NW, Washington, DC, (between F and G Streets). It is just across the street from the National Portrait Gallery. The nearest metro station is Gallery Place-China Town (lines red, green and yellow).
Your mode of transport will be a Segway. A guide will accompany you on this tour.
Before you start the tour, you will be given a 30-minute orientation session on how to operate a Segway followed by time to practice on the Segway so that you feel comfortable and ready to go out and sightsee Washington DC. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 and older. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate in this tour.
