Hotel Hana-Maui, a secluded getaway on the eastern coast of Maui, is the perfect place to relax in a natural setting. The hotel features a beautiful new spa and 66 luxury cottages located on 30 oceanfront acres.
The land in Hana is lush, the air is filled with fragrant tropical flowers and many local farms grow organic produce. You'll feel the stress melt away as you listen to the ocean waves and breathe in the clean air.

Things to Do at the Hotel
If the natural setting of Hotel Hana-Maui doesn't relax you, Honua Spa will. The facilities and the open-air design of the spa are among the best we've seen. The spa is part indoors and part outdoors. Treatment rooms are accessed from the outdoor garden which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Arrive at least an hour early for your treatment to enjoy the huge hot tub with a view of the ocean and outdoor lounge chairs surrounded by flowers. Read more about Honua Spa.
In addition to the spa, the hotel has two swimming pools, tennis courts, croquet courts, a three-hole practice golf course and horse stables. Guests have access to the 4,500 acre Hana Ranch for horseback riding, hiking and jogging. Yoga and Aqua Aerobics classes are complimentary to hotel guests.

The Beach
The "official" hotel beach is Hamoa Beach, a 5-minute drive from Hotel Hana-Maui. The beach is surrounded by tropical plants and the stairs down from the road lead past colorful flowers. If you want to avoid sunburn, it's easy to move into the shade of the trees. Hotel guests get access to lounge chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, bathrooms and boogie boards.

Guest Accommodations
Hana Ranch Hotel has 66 suites, cottages and guest rooms, including Bay Cottages, Sea Ranch Cottages and the Plantation House. Ocean Front and Ocean View Sea Ranch Cottages offer the most privacy and are ideal for a romantic getaway. Sea Ranch Cottages overlook the landscaped resort grounds and feature tropical furniture and private verandahs.
The Plantation House is a 3,000 square foot historic building with 3 acres of landscaped gardens which can be rented as a conference facility or as a guest house.

Dining at the Hotel
John Cox, the Executive Chef at Hotel Hana-Maui who used to work at the hotel's sister property Post Ranch Inn, has developed an innovative dinner menu which changes daily and incorporates locally grown fruits and vegetables. The result is delicious - the food is full of flavor and skillfully presented.
In addition to the Main Dining Room, guests can order room service from the Hana Ranch Restaurant, or enjoy a casual meal at Paniolo Lounge.

Getting There
There are two ways to get to Hotel Hana-Maui. If you want to drive the famous Hana Highway, fly to Kahului airport on Maui. From there, you'll reach the hotel after about two hours.
Alternatively, you can catch a Pacific Wings flight from Honolulu directly to Hana. Hotel Hana-Maui offers a complimentary local airport shuttle from Hana airport.
